Ensuring locomotive traction (diesel and locomotive) for cargo, shunting and economic movement.
Freight forwarding services on the railways.
"Locomotive 2030" LLP is a consumer of diesel fuel in large quantities among the group of companies "Kamkor Management" LLP, which accounts for about 40 percent of the total diesel fuel consumption on the "Kamkor Management" LLP. Therefore, energy saving issues are very relevant for the Partnership.
As part of implementation of the system of energy saving at the end of 2015 the Partnership decided to install on existing locomotives automated diesel fuel consumption monitoring system - GPS — Monitoring.
From December 2015 to January 2016 works on installation in the Association locomotives of the automated diesel fuel monitoring control system - GPS - Monitoring were carried out. The supplier of this product and services on their installation and integration in the Association locomotives is «Alpina Technologies Kazakhstan» LLP. The system - GPS - Monitoring consists of a fuel level sensor, GPS-trackers and a centralized storage server. From the installed sensors through the system data enter GPS-Trackers, further through cellular line data are displayed online on http://gps.kazgps.kz site, and also get into a centralized storage server on the service Provider.
Data based on accumulated statistics allow rational planning of diesel consumption for subsequent reporting periods, forecasting locomotive repair program basing on their actual run, both for a separately taken locomotive and at the enterprise level as a whole.
Accouning of the necessary locomotives operating parameters is continuously carried out in real time. All data are "attached" to a geographic information map which can be viewed both online and in the recording. The system is able to accumulate information on consumption of diesel fuel and useful work of locomotives on the basis of the data recorded by GPS-trackers.
Introduction of GPS-monitoring allows reducing operational costs of locomotives, which is the most important factor in increasing the competitiveness of the Partnership in the market of locomotive traction services both at OLS of Kazakhstan and the private industrial railway sidings. Already at this stage of operating locomotives one can talk about certain results in the economy of diesel fuel. For example, for 2 months in 2016 consumption of diesel fuel per 1 locomotive-hour decreased by 15% as compared to 2 months in 2015 and by 25% to 2 months in 2014.
This example has shown that economic efficiency directly depends on introduction of more advanced and innovative technologies in the production process. As part of anti-crisis measures and development of the enterprise in the conditions of crisis a significant role is played by innovative designs and technology, automated systems, as well as their implementation in production and manufacturing processes. Therefore, the Partnership will continue to work on mutually beneficial cooperation with interested companies to develop innovative projects and technologies, their further integration into the locomotive industry.
In addition, having expanded the range of services the Partnership is ready to provide transport - forwarding services both at OLS of Kazakhstan and private access railways to industrial enterprises.
